As you can clearly see, I'm not the pop singer Tiffany for the 1980's. I produce, compose, write, sing, rap, record and master my own music. I may not have to wear all of those hats for the rest of my life but there's nothing wrong with knowing how to do it. To me, this is what being a real artist is all about. I bet Michael Jackson would have told you the same thing. Does a painter have someone design his visual concept for him/her? Does he or she have someone else mix her colors for him/her as he/she paints? No, the painter does it all from start to finish. I'm not saying that any one person has to know how to execute every aspect of a music production in order to be a true artist. But I am indeed saying that, if the only thing that you are skilled to contribute to an album is your voice (laced with AutoTune even) then you are more of a "spokesperson" for the album. Everybody else involved would've done the hard work. That's my opinion but I believe that it's valid.
